We are seeking a motivated Construction Surveyor to join our team at Ellipse Surveying. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering precise set-out and as-built surveys across a range of construction projects, including:

 

• Building feature set-out

• Precast wall set-out

• As-built or work as executed surveys

• Structural steel set-out

• Slab and footing set-out

• Detail surveys

About the role

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Set out structural and architectural features on active construction sites

• Prepare relevant drawings and data for set-out

• Undertake Quality Assurance (QA) checks and plan preparation following each set-out

• Prepare survey reports, maps, and documentation

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure project success

• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards

 

 

Experience/skills:

 

• At least 5 + years of experience in construction surveying

• Strong proficiency in using surveying instruments and software (Leica experience preferred)

• Experience with AutoCAD preferred

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

• Valid driver's licence
